Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands and is dominated by Spain’s tallest mountain, the Teide (3.715m). About 1 million inhabitants share the island with 5 million arriving tourists every year. Tenerife Landscapes shows the beautiful and diverse landscapes shaped by volcanic activities, as well as various micro climates around the island, in photographic fragments of almost-untouched nature, from national parks to heavily populated landscapes, showing the consequences of urbanisation, mass tourism and sprawling developments, forced to adapt to the rough topography of the island.
